IT’S ALL ABOUT CAREGIVERS

The Christopher Smith Foundation recruits dedicated volunteers comprised of individuals who understand and appreciate the vital services of caregiving professionals.

These volunteers support a range of needs from bedside respite to visiting new parents of children with disabilities with welcome baskets in-hand.

When we think of angels we think of lovely beings, ethereal spiritual emissaries, messengers, between God and men. When I think of angels, I think of lovely beings too, including beautiful caregivers. I also think of forty million more Americans who dedicate their lives to caring for the sick, the elderly and the disabled. These are the real life, living, breathing heroes who walk amongst us every day. They don’t sport wings, but these wonderful people are certainly sent from above.
